Hello, I’m Masumul Mozumder, a sophomore undergraduate at Stony Brook University double majoring in Computer Science & Applied Mathematics and Statistics. My fascination with coding began in the 6th grade with Scratch, a block-based programming language, sparking my love for the creativity and challenges programming offers. Since then, I’ve built on this foundation by exploring more complex languages like Python and Java. This passion drives my studies in college, inspiring me to dig deeper, learn more, and intensify my affection for the field, feeding my strive for excellence. In particular, I’m interested in cyber security, cloud computing, and software engineering, with a drive to merge these interests with consulting and apply an interdisciplinary approach in innovative problem-solving.
Now that I’m finally old enough, I love going on road trips with my friends to explore the States. With all that traveling also comes a lot of food – which has helped me grow into a huge foodie. Outside of my love for travel and food, I’ve been getting into photography and love capturing moments with friends, watching Bollywood films, and, like my other team members, I enjoy watching basketball.
Between road trips, savoring new foods, and capturing precious moments, I also like setting adventurous goals. One such aspiration is to parasail in Puerto Rico while floating above the clear Caribbean waters, witnessing the island’s breathtaking scenery from an extraordinary vantage point – all while fighting my fear of heights.
I’m always eager to apply my skills, learn new ones, collaborate, and explore new opportunities, so don’t hesitate to contact me here.
